Repower has recorded good results for the first half of 2011, posting operating income of CHF 58 million and Group profit of CHF 32 million. The first six months of 2011 were dominated by strong price fluctuations and historic changes on energy markets due to political unrest in North Africa and the Arab world, the nuclear accident in Japan and the discussions on the future of energy supply. Against this backdrop, Repower’s strategy has proved itself.
