Despite a challenging market environment, Repower closed out 2010 with a very good operating result. Income before interest and income taxes (EBIT) increased by 19 % to CHF 163 million. Group profit, which was negatively impacted by currency factors, was CHF 80 million (- 28 %). Total operating revenue of the Repower Group rose by 16 % to CHF 2.267 billion in 2010.
These results exceed the expectations. This is all the more impressive given the low prices in 2010 which had a negative effect on margins.
