Repower's role as an international, vertically integrated electricity company is underpinned by its own portfolio of generation, transmission and distribution assets.
The group operates its own generation assets in Switzerland, Italy and Germany. Including investments and drawing rights, it has an installed capacity of around 770 MW.
In 2005, a 380 kV line over the Bernina Pass, installed under the leadership of Repower, went into operation. The line transports around 40 per cent of the electricity flowing between Switzerland and Italy.
In southeastern Switzerland the group operates its own distribution grid. This is a key component of the infrastructure supplying customers throughout large parts of Canton Graubünden.
