Corleto Perticara wind park
The plant has been in operation since the end of 2004 and comprises 11 wind turbines with a total output of 9.3 MW. It is connected to the 150 kV national transmission grid via a medium voltage network which is completely underground. The distance as the crow flies between the network and the wind park site is approximately 5 km.
Energia Sud is planning to extend the existing wind park. The project is currently in the approval stage.
Geographical reference area The wind park site is located on an uninhabited vast plateau with irregular elevation at an altitude of approximately 1.000 metres above sea level in the commune of Corleto Perticara (PZ), between the provinces of Potenza and Matera, among the Piccole Dolomiti Lucane range and the Val D’Agri.
