Repower

The Giunchetto power plant consists of 35 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 0.85 MW, with a total output of about 30 MW and it has a green energy production of 52 GWh per year.
The WTGs are connected to the local 150 kV transmission grid through an existing substation.

The power plant has been built in the Municipalities of Nicosia, Leonforte and Nissoria (EN). The wind farm area is located in a strong hilly area with an elevation of about 900 m above sea level.
