Your job

  • Design, implement, and manage applications in the energy sector, with focus on trading and scheduling tools
  • Partner with trading department to understand business needs and challenges, and propose innovative solutions leveraging your technical expertise
  • Collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure seamless application operations and smooth integration with existing systems
  • Perform testing, debugging, and maintenance of applications to ensure quality and reliability
  • Monitor and optimize application performance, proactively addressing issues and inefficiencies.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
  • Capacity to work in a structured way within a complex and dynamic environment, both independently and as part of a team
  • Proven experience (university or up to 5 years of professional experience) in programming languages; C# and Python are required
  • Excellent skills in database management, knowledge of MS SQL is a strong plus
  • Basic knowledge of Energy Markets (or Financial Markets) and trading applications is considered an advantage
  • Familiarity with system design (Windows Server operating system, Application servers, networks, security)
  • Fluency in Italian and English is required, German constitutes a preferential qualification
