Data protection
Repower respects your privacy. For this reason we run our website in accordance with both Switzerland’s and the EU’s data protection laws. By accessing Repower’s website you declare that you are in agreement with the following information on data protection.
When you register or order our services we use your data to respond to your enquiry or process your application or order. In this connection (and in particular for billing purposes) your data may also be forwarded to third parties; these third parties, however, are also legally and contractually obligated to process your data with care and guarantee data security. Third parties are authorised to process your data only as Repower itself is authorised to do.
Repower uses the personal data gathered in connection with the completion of the contract (in particular your first and last name, email address, date of birth and phone number) in accordance with the applicable data protection rules. Sensitive personal data as defined in Swiss data protection law are not gathered. Repower takes the necessary steps to safeguard the customer’s personal data from loss, theft and abuse. Repower gathers customer data for the purposes of allowing customers access to products and services and conducting contractual relations.
Repower may gather, process and use data provided by customers for its own marketing purposes (for example invitations to events or sending newsletters).
Potential customers authorise Repower to obtain information on their creditworthiness (i.e. for a credit check). If a potential customer has an entry in the debt enforcement register or a similarly negative entry in another database, Repower is entitled to refuse the potential customer’s order.
Customers are entitled to demand information on personal data or to revoke consent to the processing of personal data.
In addition to this, when you access the Repower website the following data are stored in log files: the IP address, the date and time, the browser enquiry, and general information transmitted about the operating system and/or browser used. These usage data serve as the basis for anonymous statistical analysis to enable us to recognise trends that will help us improve the products and services we offer.
